MTB Funds

The MTB Funds give you a convenient way to access the entire financial marketplace. From aggressive to conservative, you can find an investment style you can be comfortable with.

As a rule, investments with greater risks, such as stocks, also have the potential for greater returns than fixed-income investments. Keep in mind stocks also have greater price fluctuations ("volatility") and risks than fixed-income investments, which may not make them appropriate for the short-term investor or those whose primary concern is preservation of principal amount invested. If you are investing for retirement or funding an education and will not need your investment for several years in the future, then investing in a stock-based mutual fund may be appropriate for the long-term. Talk with your financial adviser about your financial goals. He or she can provide valuable insights for both the novice and experienced investor.

International investing involves special risks including currency risk, increased volatility of foreign securities, and differences in auditing and other financial standards.

Small company stocks may be less liquid and subject to greater price volatility than large capitalization stocks.

Income generated by the Municipal Bond Funds and Tax-Free Money Market Funds may be subject to the federal alternative minimum tax.

An investment in money market funds is neither insured nor guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency. Although money market funds seek to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in these funds.

Income generated by the Tax-Free Money Market Fund may be subject to the federal alternative minimum tax and state and local taxes.

Diversification does not assure a profit or protect against loss. Due to their strategy of investing in other mutual funds, the MTB Managed Allocation Funds may incur additional expenses and tax results that would not be present with a direct investment in the underlying funds.
